Dr. Nakia Perry-Goffney is a New Jersey Licensed Clinical Psychologist and seasoned administrator with over 15 years of experience at the intersection of mental health and the criminal justice system. As a Mental Health Director, she has spearheaded complex clinical operations within correctional facilities, bridging the gap between medical care, custody, and rehabilitative services.
Dr. Perry-Goffney specializes in forensic psychology. Her expertise encompasses parole and pre-employment evaluations, fitness-for-duty exams, and the management of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs. Throughout her career, she has remained a dedicated advocate for underserved populations, focusing on gender and sexual minorities, veterans, and individuals with comorbid conditions. Her leadership is defined by a commitment to clinical excellence, policy implementation, and the professional development of the next generation of clinicians.
