Matthew Leith joined CFG Health after retiring as Warden of the Burlington County Department of Corrections in New Jersey. Over a 25-year career, he advanced through the ranks from Sergeant to Lieutenant, Captain, and ultimately Warden in June 2018, demonstrating consistent leadership and dedication.
Matt holds several key certifications, including completion of the National Jail Leadership Command Academy at Sam Houston University, Certified Public Manager from Rutgers School of Public Affairs and Administration, and Certified Correctional Healthcare Professional from the National Commission on Correctional Healthcare. Under his leadership, the Burlington County Detention Center earned accreditation from the National Commission on Correctional Healthcare in January 2023 with a perfect 100% score. That same year, he received the County Service Award from the New Jersey Association of Counties.
Matt currently serves as Vice President of both the New Jersey County Jail Wardens Association and the New Jersey Chapter of the American Corrections Association. Throughout his career, he was instrumental in securing grant funding and implementing programs such as Medication-Assisted Treatment for inmates battling substance use and a comprehensive Reentry Program at the Burlington County Detention Center.
